Organization and Leadership

Processes of globalisation mean that organisations are in constant change. More than ever people move across borders and disciplines and work together physically, or their organizations cooperate and employees and managers work together through online communication and occasional visits. This obviously offers a number of challenges when, for example, actors have different ideas of what "the good employee" or "the caring leader" is.

This stream offers students the possibility of thoroughly studying particular aspects related to organizational culture and leadership challenges in a cross-cultural perspective. Students are offered, courses related to Organization and Leadership as well as a number of joint courses on relevant general themes related to globalization, communication and research methods. These are offered joint with the other three streams under the CCG programme interdisciplinary approach to the subject.

The structure of the programme is characterised by a large degree of project work combined with class lectures and individual assignments.
