At Aalborg University a long tradition of making problembased projectwork exists. This guide aims at providing some basic guidelines for students on what project work entails, and how one can prepare for a fruitful participation in the group assignments. The guide will provide students with a common ground which they can refer to when working in groups.
Writing a project is an art that has to be learned gradually. Thus we recommend that you read this guide at least three times during the first semester – in the beginning of the semester, in the middle and at the end – because the process of making the project will lead you to a new understanding of what this guide contains, while a rethinking of the concepts on a current basis on your actual project work will speed up your learning process.
