Language Proficiency
The Study Board for Cross-Cultural Studies has adopted the following general rules concerning language proficiency in connection with written assignments:
Language proficiency, i.e. the ability to communicate in a precise, balanced, well-structured and idiomatic manner, will be included in the assessment of all written assignments, whether in Danish or a foreign language.
Concerning oral examinations, the following guidelines apply:
During oral examinations, a certaiin frequency of grammatical errors and mispronunciations will not affect the assessment of the student's command of the subject. The ability to speak in a clear and precise manner does, however, influence the assessment because it affects the student's ability to communicate views on the academic subject being discussed.
